The Pedcor Series 18-4000 Horizontal Production Nipple allows the operator to run a well under pressure. Install all wellhead components, shift a sleeve and begin production up the coiled tubing

The Horizonal Production Nipple is available for all coiled tubing sizes with a slip type connection on top to attach to the coiled tubing.

In operation, the tool is attached to the coiled tubing at surface and is completely sealed, not allowing any flow up through the coiled tubing.

The tool enters into the horizontal wellbore under pressure. Once at the desired depth, the coiled tubing may be hung at surface using a Pedcor Safeset Coiled Tubing Hanger. Once the hanger is installed the remaining wellhead assembly may be installed.

The production nipple may be opened by pumping fluid or nitrogen down the coiled tubing to shift the sleeve in the nipple, thus opening eight (8) ports to allow for production up the coiled tubing. The flow area through the ports is equal to the flow area through the coiled tubing. The sleeve is retained in the horizontal production nipple. No components or debris is dropped into the wellbore.
