The Series
65-2100 Tubing Cutters are designed to pass through a small
restriction and cut larger I.D. tubing.
The small
O.D. cutters have a single cutter blade while the larger O.D.
cutters may have two to three blades depending on size.
The
cutters are activated by applying hydraulic force in the coiled
tubing string. This moves an internal piston down which extends
the blades out.
The
cutters are run in conjunction with a downhole motor on coiled
tubing.
