The Pedcor Pump Off
Ball Check Valves are run on the end of the coiled tubing, allowing the
operator to pump down the coiled tubing without allowing flow back up
the coiled tubing.
Once the coiled
tubing is at desired depth, a ball is circulated down the coiled tubing
and seated in the Pump Off Check Valve. Pump pressure is applied, which
shears the shear screws and the check valve assembly is sheared and
blown off the connector, which allows for production up the coiled
tubing.
