The Pedcor
Circulating Tool when run in a Coiled Tubing Work String, provides a
means of circulating fluids between the coiled tubing and the annulus.
The Circulating
tool may be used to dump fluid above a downhole motor or equalize
pressure above a packer or may be used as a treating valve.
In operation the
Pedcor Circulating Vakve allows flow through the coiled tubing when
running in or circulating. To open the valve for communication between
the coiled tubing and annulus, a ball is pumped down the coiled tubing
and landed in the sleeve of the circulating valve. Pressure is applied
inside the coiled tubing to shear four shear screws in the sleeve. Once
sheared, the sleeve moves down and allows circulation.
